Interaction with the Local Community

We have had generous support and cooperation from the local community in organizing Komaba Festival. The Committee has deepened the relationship with the local community through the support for events in the Komaba District. Here are some of the events which have taken place so far.

May 26th (Sun.): Komaba Market (Komaba Ichiba)

At the early summer flea market, we helped out to organize the market. A parade of Komakkero and Sumanyan was also held and entertained visitors.

Aug. 20th (Tue.) and 21st (Wed.): The Summer Festival (Noryo Matsuri)

At the Summer Festival, we helped manage the stand. Komakkero and Sumanyan also came to the festival, and were popular among children.

Oct. 13th (Sun.): Meguro Citizen Festival (Meguro Kumin Matsuri)

In Meguro Citizen Festival, we held bouncy ball scooping, bowling, and interaction with Komakkero, which attracted many children.
