About Coverage

The application for covering the 75th Komaba Festival has been closed.

Thank you very much for your interest in covering Komaba Festival.
As the Committee, we would like to broadly promote the value and existence of Komaba Festival.
In order to operate Komaba Festival safely and smoothly, we request you all to submit the applications. We only accept coverages that have passed the screening process of the application contents.

You do not need to request for coverage directly to the university even if you wish to cover Komaba I Campus, as the Committee will contact the university.

What Qualifies as "Coverage"

• Interviews to projects or a Committee member, and visitors for the purpose of publicity to an unspecified number of people
• Videos for the purpose of uploading to the video sharing sites such as YouTube
  • Filling in the application is not necessary if you share the contents only for private use
• Screenshots, video recordings, or audio recordings of the contents of this website for the purpose of secondary use in sites where the contents will be seen by an unspecified number of people.

Screening Criteria

• The contents of coverage is relevant to Komaba Festival
• The main purpose of coverage is the publication of contents regarding Komaba Festival
• The coverage does not prevent safe and smooth operation of Komaba Festival

Regulations of Coverage

• Reporting all contents and procedures of the coverage to the Committee in advance
• Getting permission to use images that are easily detected as the University of Tokyo
• Considering visitors’ privacy
• Not distorting the fact when editing contents of the coverage
• Publicating articles or videos only after obtaining permission from the Committee
• Following the Committee’s instructions about necessary matters concerning the operation of Komaba Festival

*We might decline coverages which do not meet these requirements even if they passed the screening.

Cautions on the Days of Coverage

Please note that the following acts are prohibited in principle.

• Coverage vehicles’ entering or parking in the Campus
• Using a waiting room
