This year, Perc-en will present a percussion ensemble full of individuality under the theme of dreams. Please enjoy a variety of masterpieces that will bring you dreams, surrounded by the sometimes fragile, sometimes powerful sound of percussion instruments. The large ensemble, which is rarely seen anywhere else, is also noteworthy... Some ensemble pieces will be available exclusively on YouTube, so be sure to check it out!

What comes to mind when you hear the word "percussion"? Small drums, large drums, xylophones, and cymbals are well-known, but in fact there are so many other types of percussion instruments that it is impossible to count them all. We, the University of Tokyo Percussion Ensemble, or Perc-en play these various percussion instruments, from melody to accompaniment. We have about 30 members, ranging from undergraduates of the University of Tokyo to students of other universities, and we enjoy our daily activities with the aim of spreading the appeal of percussion instruments to a wide range of people. On our official YouTube channel, X, and Instagram, we post the latest information about our concerts, as well as videos of our regular rehearsals and past performances.
